Everyone employed by Police Scotland/SPS must have a basic understanding of fire safety, they must know what to do to prevent fire occurring in the workplace and if a fire does break out, what they should do to protect their safety. All employees must familiarise themselves with the procedures and actions plans which pertain to the site on which they work.
This training module is for Fire Wardens who, over and above looking after their own safety, have duties to assist a designated person in ensuring buildings are safely evacuated and personnel are accounted for.
